How To Correctly Measure Your Battery

Oftentimes when purchasing a battery, one of the most crucial aspects is the size you need. This can often be determined by knowing the model, but just as often models will have several different variations - just look at the 18-85-17s pictured up above - there are 3 standard variations, each slightly different in size. Unfortunately in this day and age, knowing just the model is not enough, you also need the dimensions to make sure you don't end up with the wrong battery for your lift - even if its the same model, if the dimensions are wrong, chances are it won't fit. These measurements are typically going to be presented in the following format:

Oftentimes it will be just as important to measure the interior compartment of your lift to see what battery will fit inside - this is typically done using the same order, length by width by height.
When it comes to buying a battery or identifying your own, if you have both the model and the dimensions, you're all set.
Below I've included a guide to figuring out exactly what battery you have / are looking for. Simply match the dimensions you have taken, along with any other relevant information, to figure out exactly which battery it is that you are looking for.
